From Genius: “The track resonates with introspection, detailing Saba’s use of writing to come to terms with reality and in result help him with his journey to escape the gang culture and violence that’s prevalent in his hometown.” Saba is my favorite artist, and this project is the most important piece of art in my life. This website is a manifestation of my own exploration of the world, reality, and myself, through writing. I see no better way to frame this domain’s purpose than as my space through which to not run from the daunting task of understanding my surroundings and existence, but rather to simply write it away.
